mentioned that i'd blog about my 5 day trip in the last entry...

so here it is... long one... with lots of picture talk...

so... for those who don't like long entries... sorry... XD

19112008 KL-Ipoh

so the trip sort of started off with joni, khai xhuen and me driving to Ipoh with a car FULL of luggage... i'm not kidding you... it's FULL... until only one person can fit in the back seat... =.=we started our journey about 5-ish near 6 i think... but with the congested traffic and all...we reached Ipoh at 9pm... so after unloading all the luggage at kx's place... we went for a late dinner... don't have pictures for that... it's still with joni... then the three of us went for a midnight movie-madagascar... =) nice one... and yeah joni... its FARNIE... XD

20112008 Ipoh-Cameron Highlands

Was awaken by somebody telling me something about increasing the concentration so some orbital will don't know do what... then telling me that she doesn't know what she's talking about... GREAT =.=

so after breakfast.. we headed to the Medan Gopeng bus terminal to board the bus to Cameron...

and... the bus did not leave until HALF AN HOUR later... $#%$@!

so when we finally arrived at Brinchang... the second town in Cameron... it is already 1-ish near 2 i think... we were starving... so right after checking in... we went for LUNCH... which was KFC... LOL...

and after lunch... we met up with the others...

michelle, stacie, chia yan, sor leng, felicia and choon choon...

we had a nice stroll around brinchang... starting with one of the souvenir shops...

and then to the streets of brinchang... and finally a temple... sam poh tze...

dinner... started of with snacks from the night market...

strolling around and trying everything that the night market has to offer...

ranging from home made ice cream to sweet potato balls to chicken bakar... XD

and... believe it or not.. the nine of us... actually went on a merry go round ride at the fun fair next to the night market... LOL...

it was fun... chilly... with lots of aaaaahhhhhs and giggles... XD

the day was wrapped up with us all gathering in one room and playing the detective game... which got us yelling and shouting until 3am in the morning...

we were ADDICTED to it... XD

21112008 Cameron Highlands
The day started off with Harin picking us up at the hotel.. our first stop of the day was the orchid farm... nothing much there... and on our way... we saw vegetable farms... flower nurseries... seeing the sea of yellow or red flowers... we were awed... =)
second stop... the honey bee farm... where we saw real hives and tasted pure honey...
third stop.. the waterfall... and we did a bit of hiking even though none of us were in proper attire.. LOL.. the waterfall is nothing breath taking though... was just a very small one...
fourth stop... LUNCH... XD
and on our way to lunch harin brought us raw sweet corn.. which can be eaten just like that... and they are real sweet and delicious... wakalukong...
and for lunch we had indian food... =) i had banana leaf rice... some of us had nan and tandoori chicken... and guess what... they even have strawberry flavoured nan to offer...
told you... cameron is all about strawberries...
after lunch... we went to the rose centre...
girls are always girls... and girls always love flowers... um... besides kx and michelle...LOL..
poor michelle is sensitive to pollen... and she had a bad runny nose...
and according to michelle... kx feels TIRED whenever she sees flowers... XD
which explains the face she showed throughout the one hour we spent there... but she was wide awake when our guide tricked her into lying on the carpet of tea plant when we were at the plantation... which she did... and LOL... the rest shall remain untold... XD
next... we went to a strawberry centre... strawberry again...
this time.. some of us had strawberry sundae... i had a strawberry milkshake and a strawberry tart... while the others... had fun shopping for strawberry jams and fresh strawberries... LOL..
then... it started pouring... really heavy rain...
but we still went to the sungai pallas tea plantation..
the green carpet of tea shrubs... was really amazing... =)
this isn't my first time to cameron... in fact... my parents love this holiday spot...
so it's nothing new to me... but then seeing that manage to amaze me everytime...
after the green carpet... we proceeded to the butterfly farm...
where we had the opportunity to be so close to the insects... LOL...
that terrified some of us though... XD
anyway... check out all the interesting pictures from facebook when the others upload them... =)
Last stop of the day... steamboat... we were all so worn out by then...
but then... cameron isn't complete without steamboat right?? =)

22112008 Cameron Highlands- Ipoh

We're back in Ipoh... =)

and guess what.. i drove in Ipoh.. =D

though i was pretty reckless i think.. sorry gurls.. for being a bad driver... almost all the time... hehe..

and we went to dai xu kiok for lunch...

and yeah... we ate A LOT..

after lunch... we headed for the caves...

but sadly... we only managed to visit one of them and rain started falling... *sigh*

we visited kek lok dong... which is one of the biggest in Ipoh... i heard... *shrug*

and when rain started pouring and we have nowhere to go... we headed to jusco and wandered in the mall while sor leng shopped for a pair of sandals as hers snapped when we were running from the rain... LOL...

i bought myself a pair which chia yan already has... cause my old one is too cacat-ed... XD

dinner was nga choi gai... at onn kee i think...

and after a shower... we headed out again to experience nightlife in Ipoh... which is near to none... =p

23112008 Ipoh-Taiping

After dim sum as breakfast... we boarded a bus to taiping...

upon reaching.. we headed to kx's uncle's place...

and i have to say that... they are really nice people...

very friendly couple... thankew for letting us stay and for belanja-ing us breakfast... : )

the initial plan was to head to bukit larut...

but then... it rained when we were at the foot of the hill... =.=

so having no where else to go... we ended up in taiping central...

at first wanting to watch a movie but ended up eating popcorn in front of the cinema and leaving without watching one... =.=

then we headed to starbucks... and yay-ness... i tried the new dark cherry mocha...

not very nice la har.... i mean... it's ok... but i don't like the cherry taste... like the chocolate chip they have inside though...

i still prefer my fave green tea frap... XD

so we stayed at starbucks for the whole afternoon playing detective game cause it was raining cats and dogs outside and there's really no where else to go... *sigh*

when the rain finally stopped in the evening... all we can do is take a short stroll by the lake before it gets dark... *bigger sigh*

we had dinner at this hawker centre by the lake...

we ordered quite a lot of food...

but then we wasted quite a lot too... WHY??

cause there were these group of people who suddenly started a fight in the hawker centre...

throwing chairs and glasses...

seriously... chairs were smahsed onto tables and the stalls... glasses shattered everywhere...

it was scary...

and we left as fast as we could... just as kc arrived...

and i have to say that taiping which means peace in chinese is not tai ping... =.=

so we had a second round of dinner of char kuey teow at a small dark stall by the road side...

it tastes ok... but i still prefer the penang one... XD ok.. i know i'm picky when it comes to char kuey teow... =p

and thanks to kc... we went ah gua watching... XD

but then again... too bad... cause it was raining... not many ah gua can be seen...

only a few were seen with umbrellas standing by the road... XD

then we went yum cha and played detective game AGAIN at a nice cafe... =.=

told you we're addicted to it...

anyway... special thanks to kc... for ah gua watching... for yum cha... and for everything else... thankew... =)

after a simple breakfast at taiping with kx's uncle and aunt...

we headed back home seperate ways... joni and i drove back to penang... while the others boarded a bus back to kl...

all in all... it was an enjoyable trip... =) minus the fact that it always rain... and the fact that i left a new-never worn before-tee in cameron... =.=

and... special thanks to joni... who drove all the way from kl to ipoh to taiping and to penang... =) thankew muchie muchie...

and thanks to kx for bringing us around in ipoh... =)

and sor leng for bringing us around in taiping... =)

and to the 8 of you... thankew for the laughters and memories... hugz... : )

upon reaching penang... i had a long talk over cake and coffee with a friend... it is nice to sit down and have a conversation like this...

thankew for fetching me from autocity and helping me with all my heavy luggage and bearing with me when i can't get my keys... i appreciate that... =)

owhkay... it's sort of obvious that everyone from IMU is doing nothing else but studying...

applies to everyone... from pharmacy to medicine...

stress is definitely building up...

as EOS draws nearer...

which was why... yue keng popped into my room to say hi to joni and me... and started doing weird stuffs.. which include...

meddling with my phone camera... and taking stupid pictures of me at different angles and the 3 of us started laughing at it... =.=

anyway... after some mou liu-ness... yue keng sort of suggested that we change our study venue to the 24 hour Mc D... somewhere at Sg. Besi i think...

so... i sort of got excited over the idea...

it wasn't the studying part that intrigued me...

it was more of the going out part that caught my attention.. LOL

so... after some dilly dally-ing... off we went to Mc D...

everything went well at first...

it has been a long time since the last time the three of us can just sit down and talk and chill while studying...

the last time that happened was during sem 2 EOS i think... just that none of us were chilled then.. we were um.. stressed... XD

we've been so caught up with our own stuffs until we don't see much of each other even though we are living under the same roof... hmmph...

and suddenly out of no where... some bad news just popped out... and everybody turned a bit emo-ish...

again... i am reminded to love and care for the people around me...

cherish them and never take them for granted...

and it suddenly striked me...

that i get mad and emo and frustrated over people just because...

i care...

and sometimes... caring for somebody who just doesnt bother whether you give a damn or not... hurts... *sigh*

anyways... back to studying... so we had some food which included fries, nuggets, coffee and SUNDAE *lalala* ... XD

but then... when i finally settled down and started studying..
i got a call from a friend... and we started talking for 2 hours... =.=
so... obviously... not much studying was done that night... um.. no.. morning... and just in case you're wondering until what time did we stayed at Mc D... it is 6am.. =D

so... i de-stressed with CHIPSMORE and NESCAFE... LOL.. XD ok... finished my random ranting... back to notes..

Drug Abuse and um.. SMS abuse??

Caffeine is a licit drug.

I am a coffeeholic.

therefore, i am a licit drug addict.

And even after having my daily dose of caffeine,

i'm still yawning...

guess my body has developed tolerance for it huh? =.=
And the reinforcing properties of caffeine is causing me..

to crave for ANOTHER dose of coffee..

think THE ULTIMATE from CB.. think FRAPPUCINO from SB.. ;p

and if i don't have them...

i'll go into withdrawal syndrome...

i'll be restless, feeling sleepy and... i'll start yawning non stop... LOL..

* um... that's not really true... cause i think my NOTES are the major contributors of these symptoms... XD *

ok... finished crapping... that aside...

i actually visited CB couple of days ago...

to STUDY and of course for COFFEE... :p

just to show you some evidence that i was actually STUDY-ing...

JONI with her phone... she has the sms addiction... no sms... and she'll have withdrawal syndrome... symptoms of withdrawal syndrome of sms addiction: observe joni CLOSELY when you don't notice her with her phone in her hands... XD lalala... i know lu ai chak wa... ;p

LOL.. random picture... just to show you how many highlighters i have... all in one shade of blue only... i find it pretty ridiculous... but i don't care... that's like the only shade i use ever since form 3.. XD
