Just Updates.. =)

hmm.. updates... =) boring stuff... read on if you wanna be bored... XD

last week was a bit tiring... and i was seriously deprived of sleep...

but then... nobody to blame but myself for leaving everything until the last minute... sigh..

sunday night... one night before portfolio submission... was crazy.. haha.. XD

tuesday and wednesday... had hospital attachment at HTAR...you know what... it's boring... =( i mean seriously... we were done with the briefing in like 1 hour plus... but we stayed at the hospital for the whole day... =.= doing nothing but updating each other about the latest gossip.... =.= but then.. this is only for people who are attached to in patient... the OPD people actually had a chance to do REAL WORK... and they learned A LOT... the most interesting stuff i find from this attachment is only when the pharmacist did bedside counselling at the ward... =) anyway.. that aside, for assessment, we had to screen prescriptions and do counselling... and i think my preceptor was quite strict on assessing us... XD we went for bak kut teh after our attachment on wednesday... klang bak kut teh... ; ) and we watched imu's got talent after we got back... I realised... i'm easily impressed by people who are good with words... =) it was an enjoyable performance... with nice pieces... great songs... and beautiful words... =)

thursday.. after three days of hectic schedule... i finally got a day off... =) which i spent sleeping... doing my report... and preparing for my presentation on friday...

friday... presentation day... XD

everything was ok.. except that we can't really finish presenting in time...

still i'm glad that it's over... =) after lunch.. i collected my parcel from the sungai besi post office... thankew joni... =) and thanks yu xuan.. for sending it all the way from hong kong... =)

watched "marley and me" that night after dinner at sushi zanmai... touching movie, funny, a reflect of life... but the storyline was rather flat.. enjoyed it though... =)

saturday was spent stoning and playing stupid games i downloaded... lol..

and spending the night watching "Knowing"... it's not a totally cacat movie... hehe..

but i seriously don't like the way they end it... =.=

i actually thought it will be a nice movie until 3 quarter of the movie... then i started to feel that its turning sucky...

then.. sunday... i had an enjoyable "breakfast" trip to malacca.. will update some other time... lazy dee... XD

My 10+1 random thoughts of the week. XD

1. I've FINALLY completed my medicinal chemistry portfolio after soooo looonngggg... so i'm feeling A LIL sense of achievement... XD ok.. forget i said that... i shouldn't be... i still have TONNES of work to do... all due on monday... =(

2. I had a two day break this week... BUT it was all spent doing med chem portfolio... and seriously... i don't understand why am i so slow in progress... i can only write up about one compound per day... and after that... my mind just shuts down and refuse to process anything else... =.= and owh well... i still don't understand a thing about ferredoxins...

3. I have a new nickname... HAMSTER... =.= thanks to michelle and joni who brought it up... so now... i have all sorts of names... emo and hamster being the most used ones... i even have a song dedicated to me by kx... and pictures of me edited by kx... XD

4. We had our last pbl for sem 4 on thursday... and yes... i'm going to miss my pbl mates... i don't know why... i just love working with this group of people... Brinjal, whom mr. imran claims is a genius... XD Pui Chin and Siaw Fui, the so called "sisters"... Pui Chin... thnx for loaning me handouts during pbl and printing my reports for me... =D Choon whom mr. imran called an artist... =) Sie Chai, the one who always put a lot of effort in her sildes... ; ) Mei Mei, the one who always have something to contribute to the discussion... : ) Weng Fai, the sometimes quiet but funny one... XD Chia Yan, the one who's always thinking of food and fun for the group... =P Pang Tsen, the random, spontaneous and full of action one... XD Thankew people... for making our pbl sessions so enjoyable... =D

5. Had another mock OSCE today... this time around.. i think it's much better than the last.. though i did some pretty stupid mistakes... and yes... sangat mengeramkan... there's still lots of room for improvement...

6. I met a close friend yesterday whom i haven't seen after CNY... and we haven't really been in touch... thanks to our busy schedules... I don't know why... it just brought back a lot of memories... until i got a bit nostalgic... LOL. Anyway... thankew for your help in getting the book and yeah... it's great seeing you... =)

7. I got a pressie from yin yin last saturday... =) Thankew girl. And thanks for spending the afternoon with me... had a great time...

8. The recent workload and all made me think that my uni life is SAD... quite... SAD... i miss high school... i miss building gadgets... i miss shutting people up in debates... i miss choreographing marching formations... i miss the times when i can curi-curi read novels in class when the teacher is teaching... argh.. sucky... think i'm rotting...

9. I'm listening to Next Plane Home now... and i'm going home... soon... =)

10. I promised david i would blog about this.. LOL.. so here it is... Thanks to chong wei for giving me the snickers... XD haha... thanks MAN.. =)

Post Class Tests.

My blog is rotting... i think...
but then.. i don't know...

it seems i have nothing interesting to share... nor have i anything to rant about lately...

i know i have better things to do than to sit here blogging... such as PORTFOLIOS... but... hehe... well... class tests for sem 4 are officially over after the nasty biotechnology...
and now... we have portfolio submission date, OSCE and EOS to look forward to...
I'm so excited... not... =(
never mind... shall deal with it one at a time... david says: think positive... XD
anyway... this time around... i don't feel anything collecting my class tests results...
i used to be nervous and fidgety whenever i have to go and see Dr. Mak for my results...
but this time around... i just felt numb... even after i have gotten my results... i don't know why..
well.. ever since class tests ended... i have been chilling pretty much i think...

a birthday celebration with kc... which we had a nice dinner...
it was a nice dinner... nothing big or special... just... nice... =)

a shopping spree with michelle... while joni and kx had their haircut...

a tong sui session with the girls at sweet bean...
and... a movie with the gang yesterday... don't wanna comment about the movie... XD
but all in all... i just enjoyed hanging out... =)
and now that i'm a bit more free... i'm thinking of heading home... hmm... think i should... but i haven't decided when... soon... soon... portfolios are up next... i should start working and stop chilling so much... =p

Of Class Tests and FRIENDS. =D

FOUR down. ONE more to go.
So far... i did quite badly for certain papers...
and ok ok for the rest... never mind... let it be...
there are moments when i panicked and was stressed...
cause i just couldn't finish studying...
thanks to the stupid fever that had me sleep for one whole day...
and still feel groggy the next day... =.=
but through it all... there are FRIENDS... =D
who helped me through it... who brought me antibiotics, difflam... even paracetamol and plastered 'kool fever' on my forehead when i was sleeping... XD
FRIENDS whom i studied together with in the library... have dinner together... discuss stuffs over dinner... crack lame jokes... linger around in front of the library even after its closed to just chit chat and chill a bit before we head home... and yesterday... before comp. med... standing in front of the imu entrance... trying to help each other recall all the information that has been saturated in our brains... and most of all giving each other encouragement... =)
there are times when i come home... tired... and i will get a "jia you" from them... even though we've just said bah bye half an hour ago... and there are times when they can just help me de-stress by telling me lame stuff... acting lame... XD and just before entering the exam hall... some of them can just calm my pre-exam nerves... =) thankew for that people... though this two weeks have been hectic and tiring... thank you for helping me through it... =)
anyway... one more to go... all the best b107... hang in there... =)
